In celebration of our grand opening, we want to show off the changes we’ve made to our Clifton St corner.
Before Eliot & Vine, Ocean Entertainment’s downstairs space was occupied by a used clothing store called Formerly Yours Boutique. When the boutique came to an end, it was time for someone new to take over.
It was decided that a restaurant would be a great way to refresh the space… And so the process of creating Eliot & Vine began.
Check out what has changed since renovations started last year in October:

- This is a pretty solid “before” shot from last fall, you can see the Formerly Yours awning still in place here. This is where the gutting began.
- Punching out the walls where the “frolic room” would eventually be.
- Stripping the sides — bye, bye old bricks!
- Checking out our future logo!
- Big changes happening inside to reflect the new design.
- A facelift for the upper part of the building and… A new sign!!
- Looking good!
- Herringbone bar taking shape.
- White walls to brighten the space and some cozy Edison lights.
- The Frolic Room, complete with Jean Bradbury murals.
- Some gorgeous Eliot & Vine shelving.
- Marble counters complete the stunning atmosphere
